There are also, in the same room where I am writing, some books on the mantel above the fireplace, though these books are not in a pile, like the ones I was just now talking about, but are lined up in a more or less orderly manner, with their spines facing out, so that you can recognize their titles if you are close enough to the mantel to be able to read the lettering on their covers. Below them and alongside them, where there is space, are some holy cards and some more candles (like the one I described for you earlier), and a framed picture of the face of Christ as it appears in the photograph of the Shroud of Turin.
