Maybe you’re wondering what I do for a living, since all I’ve talked about so far is how I read and write and draw, and spend time with these two cats. The short answer is nothing. I used to teach English as an adjunct professor, but I’ve given up on that. The pay isn’t worth the amount of work one puts in, and one begins to feel that the career path is a joke. Which isn’t to say those who persist in it aren’t admirable. They may or may not be, depending on who they are. Besides, many of them have succeeded, you could say, where I  have not.
