As I glanced around the church from time to time, as the prayer progressed, or went along, I noticed the statuary and the stained glass windows, and watched as other parishioners entered the building, and found a place to sit or to kneel, in other pews. Most of them were older, gray-haired or white-haired, alone or in pairs, though now and then Iā€™d see a somewhat younger person, which in that context meant someone middle-aged, like me, rather than a truly young person.
