A package is scheduled to arrive for me today, at the house, a new pair of sneakers that I ordered about a week ago because my previous pair, which I still have here with me but which I have been trying not to wear, are so worn down at the soles and at the heels that they’ve begun to cause me some discomfort when I walk around in them.
