I recently watched a video clip of a Catholic priest who, in an interview, had been asked how a person should pray when they wake in the morning. The priest said that while there is no one way that is necessarily best, and that each person should find a way that is suited to them, and that feels natural to them, provided it is doctrinally sound, what he himself likes to do in morning prayer is two things, neither of which requires much time: express gratitude to God in the Triune form, and ask his guardian angel for help with the tasks of his upcoming day.
