This morning I jogged down to the pier that looks across the river to Manhattan and did jumping jacks and pushups and I think what are called burpees, though the way I do them is slightly different than the way a person is supposed to do them, or anyway is different than how a person would do them if that person is doing them according to how they are most commonly done, which means nothing really, and almost is not worth mentioning, except that once I begin a thought I do not like to leave it incomplete, but instead want to see it through to its conclusion, no matter how banal or uninteresting it might be.
