I don’t like Halloween much, if you want to know the truth. Adults in this country are way too into it. I said to A. the other day, as we were driving through a suburb in Baltimore, on our way to the house where my brother and his family live, for Thanksgiving, “Why do so many of these people still have their Halloween decorations up? It was a month ago, for God’s sake.”
