Even the word ‘pandemic’, in this context, now sounds to me like a misnomer. Because it suggests a naturally occurring event, rather than an event that might have been natural, to an extent, but that also might have been arranged, manipulated, or staged. Which statement will of course open me, in some quarters, to the charge of ‘conspiracy theorist’, but what of it? People have flung around that label so often it has begun to lose its meaning.
