Although now, having made all that fuss, and having spoken in what must have sounded like circles, I guess I will go ahead and say one or two things about myself, if for no other reason than to illustrate whatever point I was just now trying to make; though if it turns out that what I say doesn’t illustrate my point, but rather undermines it (or does little to support it) then so be it, I don’t need to be correct in all my predictions or hypotheses, we can just forget about what I’ve said, or anyway we can just move on and listen to me talk about something else (even if we won’t allow ourselves to forget about it).
