We’d said our farewells anyway, before I’d gone to bed last night, just in case I missed them this morning, so it was ok. Meaning, I do not feel like I failed to see them off. They otherwise would’ve knocked on the door of the bedroom I was sleeping in, before departing, and whispered a quick goodbye.
